I greatly love this printer. So easy to set up and use.
I’m not gonna lie, I absolutely love my M5C and the bundle that I got was an absolutely incredible deal and totally worth it.
If I have anything to complain about was the M5 mystery box that was purchased. The assumption was that this box would include items specific to the M5 (which my wife has) and would be a gift for her. Imagine my surprise when I paid extra because it was an M5 box and it only came with filament that could be used on any printer!!!
I knew nothing about 3D printing, but this unit was easy to set up and has printed everything I've tried very well. So far very happy with the unit.
Was eyeballing this printer for the last several months, finally got it on spring sale. Great little machine! Helped me a lot with a couple work projects already, as well as with printing the new toys for the kids, very impressed so far.
This was a gift to my son. I am an Anker fan from awhile back. Great quality products. You get what you pay for. In this case, you get more than what you pay for. Buy one, you will not be disappointed. Easy to get up and running. Took about 35 minutes to the point of startup. Then you have steps to get an account setup, etc. Four hours later and this roughly 5 inch object was complete. Slight line errors but no impact on the piece. Super quiet. This is a lid piece. The base piece, is larger and will take 6 hours overnight to print. You barely hear it at all normally however, printer is in a room with a closed door. Cannot hear it at all. Sound is mostly from the fan scoops. Low dB's in cms. claimed, (rustling leaves).
Update: STRINGING:
A lot of the printing error is related to the brand/types of pla, etc. Stringing is very common and this is mostly what we had by a small percentage. Made an adjustment in the slicer retraction settings. If the pla extrudes too slowly it is too hot for too long. It needs to flow faster. Keeps the pla from overheating. We made a 2-3% adjustment up (faster flow). This is where the customer service desk exceeds at ANKER. I wish this was a public company.
